Surf's Up Social

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 28, 2026

Surf's Up Social, LLC ("Surf's Up Social," "we," "us") runs surfsupsocial.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to respond to you and to understand how the site is used, and we never sell your information.

1. Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share, such as your company, budget range, and message. When you book a call through our scheduler, we collect the details you enter there, such as your name, email, and meeting time.

If you email us or become a client, we keep the information needed to communicate with you and deliver our services.

2. Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on site, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

  • To reply to your inquiry and schedule calls.
  • To provide, manage, and bill for services you hire us for.
  • To improve our website and understand which content helps.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Service providers we use

We share information only with the providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Resend (sending contact form emails)
  • Cal.com (call scheduling)
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (site analytics)
  • Sanity (blog content management)

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

5. Cookies and your choices

Analytics cookies are off until you choose Allow in the notice shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

If we ever send you marketing email, every message will include a way to unsubscribe.

6. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to work with you and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

8. Children

Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@surfsupsocial.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top will show the latest version. Questions? Email hello@surfsupsocial.com or reach us through our contact page. Surf's Up Social, LLC is based in North Florida (St. Johns and Clay County).
